The Lonesome Adventurer

You suddenly remember that you have some brooms leaning against the wall next to your pantry, so you crawl to them, using the wide end as the shoulder rest and the rubber handle as the floor grip. After standing up you hear the door slowly creak open, and you immediately think, “I have to find somewhere to hide!” You go to your garage, lock the door behind you, and turn on the light. “I wonder if I can maybe trap it? Then I could call the police and they would handle it.” Luckily you bought a diving cage just a couple weeks ago because you always wanted to go to the Caribbean and dive with sharks. You put the cage in front of the door, unlock it, and turn the lights off. The creature immediately opens the door and walks down the few steps that lead into the room. You were hiding next to the door when it walked in and now, seeing your chance to strike, you push the creature from behind, its skin cold as ice. It stumbles into the cage and you lock it before it can realize what’s going on. The police arrive and take the creature in the cage away, and there you stand, as the man that captured the ghost.
