" I swear i thought i heard screaming..." he starts, " I remembered seeing your pass code, but I was never gonna use it for anything. I heard screaming and i thought you were in trouble. I knew you were new and i didn't want you to not like your new place. I also have noticed that you don't come home until later, so i thought i could handle it. Anyways, i guess you got home early, and so i kind of panicked, and my first instinct was to hide because i know it sounds weird and this is hard to explain". You are still semi-confused, but mostly freaked out and you don't want to keep him here any longer. You put on a fake smile and say "Okay thanks for looking out for me! I'll show you to the door now." You walk him out and lock the door.
