A Good Cause
It is now Ethan’s turn. He decides to reveal his card and it has a knife with severed fingers on it. He asks what this means and Mr. Harley says it is called the Five Finger Fillet. This is commonly known as the stab between the fingers game with a blindfold. The butler tells him that he has to do it for five minutes and hands him the knife. Ethan begins and automatically cuts off one of his fingers. He lets go of the knife and screams in pain. Blood starts to seep through his fingers and onto the table. But the butler gives him back the knife and tells him to keep going. He finishes the challenge and is sadly left with only his left pinky finger. It is now Jessica’s turn to choose. She chooses to reveal her card. It has the same barrel on it but with a number five in the middle of it. She asks what that meansk and Mr. Harley just frowns. He then says she has to hold her head under the water for five minutes instead of two. She walks over to the bucket and the butler pushes her head in. She starts to thrash immensely. Then after one minute she just stopped moving. The butler still held her head under the water until the five minutes was up to make sure that she finished the game. Now it is only you and Ethan left in the game. Mr. Harley then presents you with the final option. He says you could go home right now with the money you have or shoot Ethan (hands you a gun) and receive the money you need and cure your brother.
Do you shoot Ethan or do you leave?
