D&D Foraging Skill Challenge - Chult Coast
After a quick look above, you spot a bunch of dark brown berries growing beneath the branches of a tree.
They have a bitter smell, but look ripe and delicious.
~Instructions~
Anyone wishing to climb the tree and grab some Berries may make one attempt with an Athletics or Acrobatics roll:
- On a roll of 13 or higher, you successfully grab 4d6 Berries and clamber down without trouble.
- On a roll of 5 to 12, you successfully knock 2d6 Berries to the ground but lose your grip and take a nasty spill. Take 1d4 HP damage.
- On a roll of 4 or less, you slip and fall out of the tree and take 1d4 HP damage and fail to grab any Berries.
These bitter dark brown Berries can be eaten raw or crushed and added to a drink to dull the bitterness. Picked berries lose their freshness and efficacy after 24 hours.
Once everyone has had a chance to climb for Berries, click "Back to the search" to resume on another path.
