Religion
Confucianism is organized in a series of texts, stating the following:
A parent's duty is to take care of his/her child, and child’s duty is to show respect and loyalty to his/her parent.
Ruler has a responsibility to take care of his subjects. The subjects must respect and show loyalty to his leader.
A husband must take care of his wife. A wife must respect her husband.
Older sibling must take care of his/her younger sibling. The younger sibling must respect his/her older sibling.
Friends are on equal footing.
