Out of Time
Your heart races as you try to figure out what to say. What to say, what to say, what to say. You realize you have no good excuses for stalking your parents and younger self. Part of you is still shocked they can even see you.
"Um, I'm, uh. I'm nobody." You take off running towards the sea as your parents call to you behind your back. You start swimming through the waves again, trying to figure out how to get back to the hospital. You think about the quarantine room in that creepy hospital, hoping that just like you came, it'll send you back just as easily.
However, the bright light never appears and you continue floating. Your arms begin to get extremely sore from keeping your head above water and the waves begin to get higher and rougher. A big wave hits you and throws you under. At first, you fight to pull yourself above water, but then after a few seconds, you get so tired that you decide to stop. A few minutes later, your body sinks to the bottom of the ocean like the Titanic. In the real world, you flatline and your heart eventually gives out.
