Killing Me Softly
You wake up face-down on the floor of a hotel lobby. You don't know what hotel, or where, or even how you got there-
Or your own name, for that matter.
You wait for a second. It's supposed to all come rushing back to you. A name. A purpose. A face.
...
Nothing.
...
Shit.
You're snapped out of your reverie by the sound of footsteps. Shuffling footsteps, and a lot of them.
You look up, and you're facing a vacant-faced crowd. They stare at you.
"Join us," one whispers.
"You're safe with us," rasps another.
"Join us." "Come with us." "You're safe." "Safe with us." "Join us." "JOIN US."
You glance over your shoulder. You see a back door, slightly ajar. You tense, ready to act-
But maybe these people have answers. Why you can't remember things. Maybe they're not as creepy as they look...?
