Vendetta
"You have got to be kidding me," she growled, turning her glare towards me. "You're telling me that this doll faced, weak vermin is going to be my 'master'?" She spat the word like venom on her tounge.
"Now-"
"Shut up," she snapped. "I haven't finished just yet. I am absolutely fed up with these disgusting slave and master roles. In fact, I should be the master. I could kill you both in matter of seconds."
"If you did, there would be almost instant repercussions. You would be apprehended immediately."
"I wouldn't be killed though," she said, a sly smile and these savage gleams in her eyes. "If you think about it, there are zero cons for me. Yes, I would probably be under heavy surveillance, but when am I not?"
I shivered in slight fear.
"Stop joking around," Professor Quartzworth said, surprisingly calm. "We don't have all day."
She only rolled her eyes.
"Anyway, you two WILL be partners whether you like it, " he glanced at her for a second "or not."
She only scowled at him in disapproval.
He sighed, rubbing at his temple in soothing, circular motions. "First thing's first," he first turned to her. "Introduce yourself to each other."
She narrowed her eyes at him in suspicion.
"You best learn your place," she hissed at him. "You could introduce me FOR me."
"Know YOUR place," he said in a calm, deadly tone.
