Trench

As the elevator rises, you gaze across the vast expanse of ice and fractals jutting from the sea floor and from the glacier ceiling above. Down below the floor you came from is the drilling sector, where you see numerous divers in diving suits and large drilling rigs about on the ice. You are suddenly surprised by a low rumbling that now seems to accompany the drillers. Suddenly, the ice where they are drilling bursts and a dark cavity in the sea floor breaks open, sucking machinery and divers into it.
