Harry Potter Adventure

You run down the stairs and into the kitchen with a smile on your face. Both your parents were seated at the table as house elves popped in and out of the dining room putting down trays upon trays of your favorite food. Your mouth waters just looking at it. Your dad looks up from reading "The Daily Prophet" and says, "Well, there's the birthday boy! How did you sleep?" "I slept fine," you responded with a grin. "We thought we'd let you sleep in, today since it's your birthday," your mother remarked. You sat down at the table, smelling the wonderful array of foods. "Happy Birthday, honey," she said. You happily dug in and your parents did as well. After you had finished the house elves took your dishes, while your mother talked to you about the day's plans as you listened with interest. "I took the day off so we can have fun all day," she exclaimed. You father eventually left for work, but not without wishing you a happy birthday and promising to bring home a surprise. You and your mother headed out and spent a lot of the day shopping in Diagon Alley. You arrived home in the late afternoon. When you got home, one of the house elves announced that an owl had arrived. Being a pureblooded wizard you knew exactly what this meant. You hopped up and down excitedly. You had been waiting for this day forever. You ran upstairs and put away all your things. When you came back downstairs, your dad had arrived home. His surprise was a huge cake and a few special gifts. You showed him the letter stamped with the Hogwarts crest. He beamed at you proudly. Your mom told you that next week you would go to Diagon Alley to get your things. You couldn't wait...
