Miriam explains about the messiah.
"His name was Jesus ben Joseph. It was he who the people of Israel were waiting for, a legitimate King of the bloodline of David. For centuries the prophets predicted that one day a king of David's line would be born who would then regain the throne and rule as the rightful king of the Jewish people. He was an Essene and as such followed the strict rules set out for the chosen of the royal bloodline.
He married Mary of Magdala, as she, too, was of the royal lines. In September A.D.33 a daughter was born to Jesus and Mary. Her name was Tamar. Jesus then entered a fully celibate state for three years as required. During this time in keeping with the rules Mary was to have no physical contact with Jesus. During the three years of celibacy Mary was referred to as a widow. The three year period of monastic separation expired in A.D. 36. Physical relations between Jesus and Mary were once again permitted. As required by messianic rules the next birth took place in A.D. 37. Jesus and Mary had a son which was named Jesus. In A.D. 44 Jesus and Mary had their third and final child and he was called Joseph.
Jesus chased out the Romans, claimed the throne as his rightful birthright and formed a society of religious tolerance. His own followers were called "Christians." But when he died his sons fought over who should inherit the throne. One son converted to paganism and preached peace. The other son retained his Christianity and began a terror campaign against non-Christians. Tamar married and moved away."
