Fossil Fighters: Return
You and Rosie walk up the stairs to your apartment. Dim yellow lights darken the pink of her outfit.
Finally, at the fifth floor, you walk out of the stairwell and unlock your door. No words are spoken, only silence.
You open the door and let her in. She sets down her bag and sits down on the sofa. You lock the door.
Rosie leans back and you sit next to her.
"It's been a couple days, hasn't it?" she says, and you remember.
"Yeah, it has."
"I just want to say thank you. Thank you for protecting me."
You scoot a little closer, making it subtle, and then you take off your jacket, throwing it onto the sofa arm.
"So, um...I've been wanting to tell you this for a couple days, but..."
"What?"
"I got us plane tickets to Vivosaur Island."
Rosie's eyes go wide and she hugs you. She laughs and laughs, and so do you. It's really funny, actually.
She lets go and smiles.
"I can't believe it! Really?"
"Yeah, really. I did."
Then she hugs you again, and kisses you right on the lips. You try to pull away, but she doesn't let you.
She keeps kissing you, and you do it back, not letting go. Rosie scoots and sits on your lap, facing you, her legs spread out.
Your brain starts to think dirty, but you push away the thoughts and she embraces you again. You both can't stop.
"I feel like this has been kept inside me for so long, I'm sorry," she says, and pulls away, and you realize you have your hands on her waist.
