Fossil Fighters: Return
"After you left, the island returned to normal routine. Not really normal, because the...you know who was there. They were kept secret, though. (She's speaking of the Dinaurians, of course) People came and went to the island, doing regular fossil digging, exploring around the island. When I had the chance, I would go talk to Duna every once in awhile. She...well...missed you the same as I did.
"Three years later, my aunt and uncle called me from Kyoto and said they wanted me to come back to the real world and get away from all the 'dino digging' as they called it. I talked with Grandpa and he said that it would be fine if I moved as long as I kept in touch. I mean, I wanted to stay, but the place was getting a little stale, you know? Anyway, I packed up all my stuff and moved to Kyoto and that's where I've been for the rest of the time.
"I called Grandpa almost every day, asking how he was, how the people on the island were doing, and he said 'great' every time. Then I started school, and unfortunately for me it was pretty late. I had learned basic stuff from Grandpa, math, bio, language arts. But as I started school I was calling him less and less, every other day, then once every week, once a month, and then one day, I put down the phone and that was the last I talked to him.
"Life's been normal from that point on, I guess."
She looks at you, eyes begging for a reply. She wants you to say something.
