I turned around and walked slowly to the car, reaching for the keys in my pocket. "NIKKI?!" I heard behind me. My heart raced as I tried getting away as fast as I can with out throwing out my back. The panic filled me, my blooded boiled and I started to sweat. "There's no going back now." I said to myself. I heard the door slam open, startling me. "COME BACK HERE NOW" he screamed. He's going to kill me, I feel it. I can't go back. I can't. I felt the tears fill my eyes. As the foot steps grow louder, my heart pounded faster. I'm almost there, the car is so close please, please please... I reached out for the handle and pushed the keys inside it, unlocking it.
