Upheaval

You notice a small compact on the bedside table. It's pink, inscribed with roses and a delicate little E. Something about it tugs at your memory. You have seen that E before. But where?

Unable to mold the fog of memory into anything tangible, you decide to look inside. You a small button along the circumference and it pops open. Inside sits a small mirror and a round little container of tan powder with a dip in the middle. You adjust the mirror to get a better look at yourself.

Dark eyes and even darker hair. You. Except the scar. The scar doesn't look familiar. You run your fingers along the raised skin, so fascinated that you don't even hear the nurse walk in. You look up and into a pair of pale blue eyes. Her smile reveals a set of perfect white teeth.

'And how are you feeling?'
