The Death of the Shaws

You are the daughter of a scientist named Amanda Parker and an artist by the name of Fredrick Shaw who had passed away a few months ago, resulting in your mother isolating herself in her office with the door locked. Born with two arms, two legs and four eyes, you were often teased for your glasses and freckles like any girl would be in primary school, but once high school came along, you had blossomed like a butterfly from a cocoon. Your hair changed from the blonde color it was once she exited the womb to a warm brown hue. You still needed glasses, but they seemed to fit your non-symmetrical face well. Your eyes were a light brown, and so was your skin that seemingly hid the speckled marks, or if anything, softened their presence. You were much more popular in high school, but not as smart as your younger siblings who were in all excelled classes. Despite this, you were still a close knit family, who always played in the forested park a few blocks away from home. The forest was always dappled in the light of the afternoon sun, and the leaves were stained orange like the pumpkins the farmers grew, yellow like the sun, and crimson like the robins that flew about in building their nests.
Upon returning home one day after an exhausting day at school, your two siblings come up to you, and after being hyped up on candy and soda, ask you to walk them to the park, since they are far too young to do so on their own. Your limbs are extremely sore from running and walking the whole way home after school with several textbooks weighing down on your back.
