Where the Forest Ends (CYOA altered)
And so he let her step forward, to try and message the other Neil, that she was still there for him. That she cared. That she would never give up on him. So she stepped up and hugged him. If felt normal at first, but then it started to feel good. Pleasant. And then it hit Neil. The emotion he felt for her. After a minute or so, she released her hug, and she looked up into Neils eyes, his big brown eyes and said:
“Stay with me.” Neil felt something new now, like he was apart of two bodies. He was sending the message he had just received from Shelby to the other Neil; it felt spectacular. Shelby was now straight faced.
“Do you think he got the message?” She asked. Neil only nodded, the straight face painted on her face turning to happiness, and she hugged Neil again, and just as he was about to send it to the other Neil, she said:
“Thank you.” Neil then waved and walked out of the house. He now realized the emotion he felt for her, although he felt guilty admitting it to himself.
He had felt love.
As he met up with Ash, he saw a figure on the horizon. Erebus, Neil immediately thought. As he saw erebus crafting something, he dashed for him. He could hear Ash behind him, running with him.
“Ash you need to stay here. I will give a signal when you will travel through the portal with Shelby. Make sure you keep note of where the portal is!” Neil shouted behind him as he ran. Once he had caught up with Erebus, he saw him finish the portal, and he ran through it, with Neil hot on his tail.
As he leapt out of the portal, he knew that there was a huge time delay, but since they had both gone in at relatively the same time, Erebus will have had very little time to do any damage. He materialized into minecraft again, as it was good to be back, or was it? Things seemed a little two dimensional for this world, as if everything was smacked with a frying pan and flattened.
He had no idea where he was, and likely erebus knew where he would be, so he had to be fast. Moving to a tree he took out his axe to cut it down and get building blocks. However, when he pulled out his axe, it was made of a new mineral he had never seen before. It seemed to be brownish-darkish color, but it was still very dull against dirt. He decided he needed to chop down the tree anyway, and when he destroyed the bottom block, the entire thing fell over, giving him more wood faster.
Now he realized that this definitely was not minecraft, and Erebus had time to figure it out… or did he? As he looked around he saw that he was in a biome with bluegrass and pale trees. He pondered where he was, and decided to wander off east. Besides, he saw a white sand beach that looked unfriendly, and he did not want to go there. After a few hours trek, he came across a huge glowing blue biome, with blue mushrooms that were huge. He saw a small hut in the jungle of dense mushrooms, so he headed there. When he knocked on the door, a man came to the door, that looked like a mushroom. He looked very weird, but he didn’t question it. As he told Juan, as he called himself, about how he got here, Juan told him he was in a game called Terraria, and that he had seen the tall lanky enderman here just a few seconds ago. This burst Neil into action, asking Juan if he had weapons. He told him that he had a mushroom spear that he was willing to give to him, so he took that and went after the enderman that terrorized him and his friends.
He spotted the enderman terrorizing some townspeople, taking their goods. As soon as he got to a giant hotel, he heard a scream come from inside, and he saw Erebus teleport away with someone in his long enderman arms. When he came inside, the townspeople started panicking.
“HE IS BACK!” One man that had a brown robe and brown adventurer's cap on.
“HELP!” A woman with pink hair said as she hid in a room.
“I can get him this time!” A confident man with a huge orange beard and hair came out and threw a grenade at him. Instinctively, he ducked for cover just in time. The man who had threw the grenade got ready to throw a second, but he saw that he was not the evil monster that had been here a few minutes ago. The man had a yellow miners hat, a sack full of explosives, and a miner's outfit on.
“Who are you?” The man asked as he cautiously backed away from the newcomer.
“I am here to stop Erebus.” Neil said. The man looked confused. “The tall dark red dude with blue glowing eyes.” Neil said. The man then breathed a sigh of relief, everyone else cautiously coming out of their houses.
“Guys, this man said he will save us from the guy who stole Shelby, Neil, and Ash!” A cheer erupted from the building, but as the man turned around, he saw Neil frozen stiff. He had to save himself and the other two again? When will this madness end?! He thought, scared out of his wits. Neil then explained his story to the people in the building, them understanding some parts and being completely confused on others.
“We need a plan to stop him and rescue me and the other two.” Neil said to the people that lived in the building. “First I need weapons, and then three people who are willing to risk their lives to save dear friends.” The explosives man, Beldin, as he called himself, wanted to go, along with Dante the arms dealer and Blackbeard the pirate captain. As they readied, Dante armed himself with the best of guns, beldin with the highest quality of explosives, Blackbeard armed his flying ship, and Neil got the best sword he could, and Beldin called it the starfall. As Neil explained the rest of the plan, the four heroes carefully put it into action.
