D-DAY
You arrive just on time! You swiftly and silently slip into your desk in the back of the room. While you do so, you feel someone's eyes following you. Looking around, you spot Mylan and she's staring you down hardcore with the biggest grin on her face. She isn't getting shy like she usually does whenever you decide to lock eyes with her...
Wait a fucking minute. SHE gave you that cake. What the hell did she put inside it?!
Your thoughts are interrupted by the classroom door slamming open, everyone directing their attention to the newcomer.
"Alright everyone. Thommo is sick, so I'll be babysitting you cunts for today."
The familiarity of the voice struck you like lightning erasing any thoughts you had before about your suspicions about Mylan. You whipped your head around to make sure you weren't just imagining things. "Bryce?" you call out in shock.
As if on cue, Dean groans from the front of the classroom at the sight of his brother. On the other hand, Brandon screams out and cheers, excited at the news that one of his friends was going to teach the class for a whole day. Bryce can't help but smile at the reaction he got from you and the others. Nonetheless, he attempts to keep it professional.
"So first order of business..." he began, organizing some of the papers on the desk. "We have a new transfer student joining us today."
Your eyes flicker with a glimmer of hope. Could it be...?
