D-DAY
Your name is Jean-Luc, a youthful little German boy living in the wasteland that is Australia- just a normal guy trying to get by. But today, that's all gonna change! (virtually of course lmao)
It's yet another day at Kimberley High (Yes, I took your school's name and Americanized it- fuck off) and you've just arrived at the front steps of the school. It's a beautiful morning, the sky crystal clear with the brightest cerulian hue and the sun freshly risen over the horizon. You take a moment to appreciate the simple gift from nature that we call our sky, a smile forming at the edges of your lips.
Suddenly, a buzzing in the pocket of your pants interrupts your moment of serenity. You reach inside and take out your cell phone, switching the screen on.
You look down at your notifications, smiling as you receive one last message from your girlfriend overseas.
"Have a wonderful day at school, Jean! I love you so much 💕 I hope we see get to see each other soon."
You quickly message her back with a smile and shut off your phone, shoving it into your pocket as you head off to your first class of the day. Less than 7 hours till you get to talk with her again. I mean- it could be worse. But either way, you still have to make your way through the school day.
You walk into your classroom and sit down at your desk, setting your stuff down. As you do so, you notice a groups of girls taking (not so) hidden peeks over in your general direction. They're smiling among themselves, whispering to each other as if gossiping.
Over to the back of the room, your friend, Mylan, is happily distributing her chocolates to everyone. What a sweetheart! She's skipping from desk to desk, placing a small box on each as she goes. The girl had recently transferred to your school from America about a couple of weeks ago, and she was already well liked among your class. She notices you looking over at her, and she waves with a cheerful smile. You wave back at your dear friend, taking note of the slightly larger box in her bag among the multitude of smaller ones. Could that one be for you? I guess you'll have to wait to find out.
Over on the side of the classroom, near the door, Dean and Brandon are standing on the opposite side of the class, not in their usual seats beside yours. You wonder why this is. They are speaking more or less casually, but they keep glancing over at you now and then, which honestly is both creeping you the fuck out and really fucking suspicious.
