Just an Ordinary Day in the Life of an Ordinary Girl
You start driving and ask him where he’s really going.
"I'm going to Elmrow," is his answer. "Heard of it?"
"I...think so," you answer. A bell is ringing in your head. "I think I've heard the name some time ago. Yeah, it was on the news for some reason!"
Zack looks up in surprise. "For which reason was that?" he asks you.
"I honestly have no idea," you say. You don’t care much, because at the moment your mind is more occupied by a certain person next to you.
It gets lighter outside as the sun steadily climbs up the sky. The highway is still practically deserted, which is kind of strange for this time of day.
You can now see Zack from the corner of your eye for what he really is. He looks even better than you expected. Not that he is extremely handsome, but there's just something about him. His features express a strong and fascinating character.
You make a decision. "Hey Zack, I just remembered I don't have any pressing things to do, so what about me taking you to Elmrow huh?"
You look at him from aside and see his face light up. "Sure, thanks!" He smiles. Anything for that smile huh Amber? you think to yourself.
At that moment you see a car along the highway. You think you vaguely see a woman next to the car, no, a girl, cry, and put her hands out to you in a desperate attempt to get some help. The next moment you just see a person standing beside the car, nothing desperate.
What do you do?
