Period 5 HSA
You and the other revolutionaries charge the palace, killing anyone on sight. The large army charges through the main gates, and floods the rooms of the Palace. You and a handful of others charge into the throne room, where you find the King sitting on his throne. You and the other revolutionaries quickly surround him and bind his hands and feet together with rope. A guard tries to stop you, but another revolutionary shoots him in the stomach, letting him bleed to death. King Louis XVI gets put in a dungeon, where he is brought out a few days later for public execution. The King has been executed by guillotine and the monarchy which he represented has fallen. Soon after, a new government has arisen and the old systems have been removed, a new democracy rising out of its place. You are a survivor of the French Revolution.
