Summer fun
“Alright, cereal it is!” Danny declared.
“You know, that actually kinda works out since we still have our bathing suits on” Tim mentioned
“Hah, good point!” Justin laughed.
The four boys raced down to the kitchen.
“Alright so.... lets see.. we kinda have a selection here guys..” Danny tried to suppress his laughter as he rummaged though the pantry cabinet.
“The options are.., nutra grain... cheerios.... ooooor … wait…fruit loops?”. The teen found it odd because the last time they'd ever had fruity loops in their pantry was back when he was just a little kid. Not giving it another thought Danny continued to list the other options. The teen purposely didn't mention the box of raisin brand because he knew his friends generally disliked the cereal.
“So, whats it going to be guys? Which kind do you think would make a better pool toy?” The middle schooler asked as he playfully shook one of the boxes towards his friends.
After a very short deliberation, the group agreed on the fruit loops. The colorful tube-shaped loops were an obvious choice.
Danny grabbed a regular white bowl from another cabinet and pulled out a carton of milk. The three young teens stood around the table and watched with anticipation as the colorful cereal cling'd and clang'd against the bottom of the empty bowl.
Bare chested host grinned as he began to pour the milk dramatically over the cereal as his friends chuckled to themselves. If anyone were to walk in without understanding the context, they would probably assume the boys were high out of their minds.
There was an awkward moment as the boys simply stared at the newly prepared bowl. It actually looked kinda tempting considering that none of boys had eaten lunch yet. It was a bit unnerving to catch yourself subconsciously salivating over a bowl you were about to shrink yourselves down into.
“So...uh.. I guess we should just start before it gets soggy...huh?” Danny suggested to move along with it.
The other boys nodded as they seated themselves side-by-side on the edge of the table in front of the bowl.
Danny took a step back as he pulled the device out of his pocket and lifted it towards his friends.
“Say chees......oh wait... uh... say cereal I guess?” Danny smirked as he lifted the device towards his friends.
“CEERE--~” The the seated boys couldn't even finish the single word as their friend prematurely pulled the trigger.
Danny was startled by how quick it happened. The very instant his finger pulled back his friends had vanished. There wasn't even a beam or anything. It was almost as if he made them flicker out of existence like the changing a channel.
Danny walked hesitantly over to the table. It didn't take long to realize something wasn't quite right. The teen couldn't make them out right away, but after peering closely enough he found them.
It seemed that they had shrunken to a size a bit smaller than anticipated. The three friends were practically lint size. The boys had been expecting that they'd be at least big enough to toss the loops around at each other, or at least just use them as swimming tubes. However, at their current size they could easily be trapped in the center of a single loop.
“....Woah.. uh... damn guys, I think the settings might have got changed while it was in my pocket....sorry” The regretful teen apologized as noticed that the dial on the device had been turned slightly.
“Do you guys want me to fix it or...?” Danny brought his eyes down across the edge of the table as he whispered.
“DANNY!! YES FIX IT!! THIS IS TOO SMALL!!! DANNY!!!” Tim yelled and waved along with the other two as their friend's ginormous blue eyes peered down at them from beyond the table's edge.
They had wanted to become small, but not THIS small. The bowl would be less like a pool and more like an ocean at their current size.
It was very difficult for Danny to make out his speck-sized friend's facial expressions anymore, let alone their tiny voices.
(“Damn...I can't even hear them”)
The only thing he could tell for sure was that they were jumping wildly and waving their arms.
(“....hmm.......they look pretty excited to me….. ”) The young giant teen nodded with a smile, not wanting to hurt their ears with an actual reply.
The boys noticed Danny nod his head, implying he had understood.
Grabbing the spoon he had taken out, Danny lowered it next to the tiny teens, tilting it so that they could climb on.
The trio looked at the massive Cruise ship sized utensil with confusion.
Figuring that Danny was going to place them on the floor or something , the teens awkwardly crawled over the rim of the giant spoon
The boys were caught off guard as the utensil suddenly tilted back to its upright position, sending them sliding down the curvature of the inner spoon.
They had actually become so small that the slope of the dip was like something you would experience at a water park. The trio struggled to keep hold of each other as they slid into the center.
From the bottom of the spoon, the outer rim was four or five times higher than them, making it only possible to view the world overhead..
The shiny silver surface of the spoon was surreal, like a vast shiny mirror all around them. The boys attempted to stand, only to be caught off balance as the spoon began to move again. \

“Wooow...haha…this is crazy guys...” Danny couldn't help but grin as he brought the spoon up to his face and stared at it's tiny contents.
The teen had likely eaten off this exact spoon over a thousand times growing up. To see his best friends practically trapped in it was both bizarre and amusing.
“heh......well…time for lunch~” He exclaimed playfully as he opened his mouth wide in front of the spoon.
A blast of warm pancake scented air rushed over and into the spoon. Two or three tendrils of saliva stretched out within the dark wet cavern
Though they knew he had to be kidding around, the trio couldn't help but feel the raw instinctual tension wash over them along with their friend's humid breath. The shimmering, gooey, saliva coated mouth seemed to grow as the spoon was brought in closer.
“HAHA... V-VERY FUNNY DUDE..... HILARIOUS ….~” Justin yelled with a tone of anxiety.
The tiny friends were becoming increasingly uncomfortable. The group didn't even know if Danny could hear them, or perhaps he was simply just ignoring them as he continued to carry the spoon into his watery mouth.
“Ahhhh~~” The sound of the giant's voice blasted out from his dark throat as the spoon began to actually enter into his maw. They were actually experiencing what it was like to be breakfast cereal.
“ DANNY STOP!!!!” The teens screamed out in genuine fear as they began to seriously question their friend’s actions.
