The Haunted School

Spinning around, you take a wild guess and step confidently forward.

Your right hip bangs against something cold. A sink? Fumbling, your hands confirm it. You think, people put sinks opposite of doors in public bathrooms. The more private functions are performed where no one standing outside the doors can see. If the sinks are against the wall, the door must be somewhere across the room. You lurch in that direction.

A second later your groping hands jamb sharply against a tiled wall and find the door handle. A second after that you are outside the room at last, sweating profusely and breathing heavily, but safe from whatever was in that room.
