Now that you all have your Pokémon Oak gives you each your pokedex and five pokeballs.

You leave the lab, say good-bye to your mum and siblings before heading out onto route one.

As you walk down route 1 you spot a Rattata and end up battling it, sending out your Rattata, of course the first Pokémon you find you already have.
