Troubled Waters

You decide that it is in your best interest to do this, as your judgements are starting to become a bit clouded due to hunger. You turn your fleet to follow the path of this whale, feeling that a little extra time is okay if it is caught. A few minutes into the hunt, you see two massive pillars shoot out of the water ahead of the lead ships. They crash down over them with ravenous force and pull them under, leaving shattered wood and sailors flying through the air. More pillars emerge from the water, sending waves into all of your ships. The pillars slam down onto your ship, straight through the middle, splitting your ship in half. You are sent flying into the water where, through the wreckage and bodies, you see the massive body of The Kraken! You try to swim but your legs won’t work. The Kraken has you, and your entire fleet is destroyed. You were so delirious from hunger that you led your fleet to death by sea. There’s no way to tell whether or not it actually was the kraken or not, as there were no survivors. You could very well have all starved to death and simply imagined it in a hunger craze.
