Troubled Waters

You decide to test your luck and sail directly through the storm. Your shipmates are unsure and reluctant to stay on the deck where they need to be, but that's probably due to the battering rain and intense winds. You can hear your ship's mast creaking and shaking, but you certain that you're almost through it. You buckle down and sail as confidently as possible for almost a full day, and, to everyone’s surprise, you finally see the sun! You’ve made it through the storm! Once your fleet is far from the edge of the tempest, you send a few small boats to rally the rest of your ships and make sure they are ready to continue on. An hour later, the boats return to report the loss of one ship, carrying extra food and livestock for the journey. Chances are the ship was capsized and has no way to right itself, making it a lost cause.
