The Z Plague

You're sitting in biology class, listening to the droning voice of your teacher. You stopped paying attention a while ago, since she went off topic and began talking about a strange virus. Before you zoned out, you heard her saying the virus, that started in a third world country, has now crossed into larger populations. Although not much is known, the infection is incurable and is transmitted through bodily fluids, killing the victim and then reanimating the corpse into a shambling "zombie", ready to repeat the cycle. There will be a drill in which the students learn how to evacuate the building in case the infection ever spreads to the city. The mood lately has been tense, and your neighbors just vanished yesterday. Although your parents haven't been very concerned lately. After all, most of the time disease scares such as these happen every year, and life goes on as normal.
