Forest Dweller

You walk back towards the forest. It looks completely different from the last time you were here. There are no more vines, either. But something strange seems to be happening- the further you go, the darker the forest gets. As you turn around and walk, it gets even darker. You try running for the ocean, but the dark energy inside you prevents you from reaching it. As darkness washes over you, you feel vines shoot out of your chest, wrapping themselves around you... you struggle in pain, but to no avail- you are consumed, and soon another tree is formed. You have become yet another victim of this place.
