The Tale of Nothingness

"Hey Lucien!" you say when your best friend picks up. "Do you want to be the lead singer for my band?"
"Sure," he replies. "I'll be over in a little bit."
You two say your goodbyes and you hang up the phone. You turn around to go to the kitchen for a cola, when you almost run right into - yo' mama.
"I don't like that Lucien boy," she states. "I sometimes feel that his intentions...aren't correct."
"Whatever do you mean, Mother?" you ask.
"I sometimes feel like he wants to take advantage of you."
"Like how?"
"Like he's a flamer and he's trying to recruit you!"
Ouch. "But Mother...!"
