Status of Metropolis
Metropolis is booming.
A recent expansion of Metropolis territory gives the city access to the open waters. Up until this point, rations have been very limited. The Guard has always forced petty criminals to gather and garden food for the city. Now the expansion allows access to food from the Ocean waters and a way to travel to other cities and areas to gather resources.
The citizens seem to be mostly complacent. Their religion keeps them occupied most of the day. If they aren't busy with the church, they most likely have jobs making shells for The Guard or volunteering to gather rations.
