Darkness and Light
Snarling angrily, blinded with rage and pain, you lunge at your assailant. You reach out to grab him by the throat and quickly finish him. Instead, your hand brushes against the cross, and you are sent flying backwards.
"Ha, you are just like an animal", the man snarls in disgust. You are on your back, clutching your hand in pain. The flesh is melting away like wax, and your hand is almost unrecognizable. The smell of burnt flesh fills your nostrils.
You know you have to get away, but the pain is unbearable. The man walks slowly towards you, and your pain seems to intensify ten-fold with every step he takes.
Finally, your pain comes to an end as you let out one final, ear-piercing shriek, and turn to ashes.
