The wizard takes your spear and places it in the center of the room. He makes some hand motions and mutters some incantations, but you don't see any of the lightning bolts or pillars of flame you were expecting. The man hands your spear back to you. It feels a little different.
"I've magically augmented your weapon. It now has the power to kill at least low-level demons."
