Dropped

You run into the trees. You keep running until you cant hear the Germans anymore. But now you have time to realize you're lost.
You sit down to get your bearings, and reach for your map. You cant find it. You search all over, and nothing.
You're stuck in the middle of Normandy with no map. How are you going to find your way out?
You throw yourself on the ground.
You have two options, you let the Germans find you, or you find the Americans.
Right now, with no map, you can only think of one thing to do.
You scream as loud as you can. "FLASH!!"
And you get an answer. "Thunder!"
After playing Marco Polo for a few minutes, you find the person that said 'Thunder'. Him and his three friends.
"We're headed for waypoint C. Is that where you're supposed to head?"
Right now, you don't care. You'll find your squad later, you don't want to go off alone again.
"Yes, I'm heading there too" you respond.
"Alright then, lets head out. We'll reach it in about an hour's walk. Lets get started."
You head out for the gathering point. Whatever happens from here on out, you'll be fine. As long as you have at least one American beside you for the remainder of this war, you'll be fine. After all, if they're not against you, they're with you, right?
