Dropped
You head to the barn.
After a few minutes, you reach the barn. You hear a lot of talking coming from inside. That barn must be packed with Germans!
You decide to listen in closer, maybe they aren't German, right?
You go around to a window, and accidentally expose yourself. There's some yelling and some rustling coming from inside the barn. Before you can turn and run, someone catches up to you and grabs your shoulder.
"You made it! Here, have a smoke!"
You get led in, and explain where Miller is, and whats going on. You then relax with the rest of them. You'll head out in a few hours, so you might as well take a breather, right?
A few hours later, someone fires a gunshot from inside the barn. You look outside. There's about twenty Germans out there! Then a couple more shots are fired. Soon, the whole barn is shooting outside.
You suddenly remember: Miller is out there!
After a half hour, the few Germans that are left decide to retreat.You go check on Miller.
He is bleeding, but alive. Barely.
You get him back to the barn.
Whether he lived or not, you dont know.
When all the paratroopers arrived several hours later, he was left behind along with two other soldiers to guard him.
You'll be at the objective in about two hours,assuming you dont get killed on the way there ready for your next orders.
Who knows, maybe the war will end someday? Hell, you might even make it out alive.
