When I wasn't looking...

"Well it was great meeting you and working with you.. but I need to go now" I quickly run off. Amanda is usually the first one out the door, which is kinda odd because she's such a hard worker.

We used to joke that maybe she had a date; which with anyone else wouldn't be funny but always brought out rounds of laughter from the "cool" table at the cafeteria. It's sad how we sometimes act like jr. high kids when we have careers and some of us even have families.

I'm gasping for breath as I run out the front door and see Amanda getting into her car.
