Futurestar - Edd's AD&D
You slowly sip the drink, thinking about what you will do with your life. Perhaps some low rate job as an apprentice in this bar. You glimpse to the left for a second but you notice something disturbing.
The silent assassin is staring at you. A dark grin spreading across his pale now visible face. You find this chilling as the muscles along his mouth strain around his sewn together mouth.
Suddenly you feel a hand on your shoulder as one of the men with the assassin brings you over.
"Excuse me boy but do you have some free time" he asks.
You look strangely at him as he smiles casually at you. You feel uneasy by this and you try to slowly retreat back to your seat.
"What kind of work" you ask cautiously as you return to your seat.
"Just a few chores for us" he said looking back at the assassin and his other companion.
"and what if I refuse" you ask more confidenly as you slowly take out your dagger from your belt and hold it behind your back.
"well let us put it this way, you won't have much free time either way after you just drank that poison." he whispers to you.
You suddenly freeze in fear as the words pour into your mind. You feel your stomach churn and your heart burning with an inner fire. You fall to your knees as beads of sweat drip from your face.
"You only have 3 hours to live and it will get worse until your whole body is reduced to a sickening pile of flesh, that is unless you help us!"
