The Great Conflict

Remembering that the Cleric's blessed shield deflects any material attacks you pull out your energy pistol. You aim a blast directly at his head and shoot. The bolt of energy passes right through the shield and incinerates the clerics face and part of his skull. His body falls to the floor and you can see brains begin to ooze out from the gaping hole you have created. At this point all the worshippers have fled and the temple is empty. You head for the catacombs in an attempt to reach the base of the building so you may ensure your antimatter charge deals maximum damage.
