He gets a smug look on his face, and rules the king square for a while before the other boys take over. Every time you easily get the king square, you purposefully let the kid take the commanding square from you.
Finally the game is over and most but not all of the kids have left.
A camp counselor comes over and asks the kid if he knows when his father is coming. The kid shrugs and the counselor dismisses it. "Who is this guy?"
"Oh, he joined us to play 2-square"
"Is he any good?"
"Nah, I'm better than he is. He needs practice."
You blush. He's such a flirt.
The counselors seem to be waiting for 3 kids' parents to show up. Johnny seems to be one of them, but he stopped playing 2-square and now you are standing there doing nothing.
