Dark Secrets
Having no idea how to control the sub, you jump into one of the escape pods and close the hatch. You look down at a LED touch screen between your knees.
There is one red button in the middle of the screen that says 'Engage'. With the rock wall quickly approaching you jam your finger down repeatedly on the red button.
A voice comes through the speakers housed in your padded head rest. "Escape pod engaged. Please secure yourself within the pod."
You feel the mechanical arms release the pod into the ocean below the submarine. Bubbles wash over the glass hatch as pitch black water surrounds the pod and interior lighting fades up.
A small control stick is raised under the LED screen and you are prompted to begin navigation of the pod.
Suddenly a familiar voice is in your ears. "It's Quinn. I can't believe you took an escape pod. I shouldn't have left you but I was under the sub making some last minute adjustments."
"We were heading straight for a rock wall!" You shout back.
"Don't worry. It's a hidden entrance into our West Coast Headquarters. I'm disabling your controls. The pod will dock with the sub momentarily."
The control stick descends back under the LED screen and you feel your pod turn back toward the wall.
The rock begins to open and your pod follows the sub into an airlock and docks.
