Hall of Infinite Doors

You turn yourself transparent (in case anybody's on the other side), and float through the doorway. You find yourself in a quaint, if not slightly tacky, living room. There's a boy playing with blocks on the floor, while an adult, probably his father, sits on the sofa, reading a newspaper.

"Hey, daddy? Are you gonna go to work today?"

The man chuckles. Without looking up from under his newspaper, he responds. "Not today, son. Nobody called asking me to exterminate ghosts today."

Crap! Of all the houses to randomly materialize in, you pick the house of a ghost hunter! Still, that doesn't mean you won't be able to have a little bit of fun. What do you want to do?
