The Mold

You begin to walk along the left bank of the stream hoping to find some evidence of the mold monsters travel. As you follow the stream you notice it grows wider and deeper as tributary streams join up with it. Soon the ground around the stream grows damp and muddy from the gurgling and splashing of the water as it hits rocks. You keep trudging through the mud until you are startled by the croaking of a toad. You lose your balance and fall into the stream and due to your lack of mass you are quickly carried off by the current. You are being pulled down stream and at risk of drowning because the water is well over your head. You can grab onto a tree branch as you float down, swim against the current and try to reach shore, or swim with the current until you find a natural bridge to get off at.
