The House On The Corner
As you walk around the house, you notice how old everything seems to be. There are no signs of a caretakers care and the paint and windows seem to be chipped and cracked all over. You can't understand why nobody has taken over this house, and if there is an owner, how are the taxes kept up? As you walk through the crackling grass, you feel as if you are being watched. You look around, but see no one. Yet, you are unable to brush off this eery feeling. You look up to the sky and it seems as if night is falling early. Just as you are about to walk back towards your car, in fear of the impending dark, a woman opens the screen door to the rear of the house and hollers for you to come in. You aren't sure about this. First, no one answers the door, and now a woman in an old dress with an old apron comes out to invite you in like you are an old friend. Something doesn't feel right, but you can't believe anything bad can happen. Or can it?
