You hurry out the stone archway, and look back to see a blinding blue flash as the stone edifice you left behind implodes upon itself. You'd have to assume that old Druid was just an Alzheimer's time bomb of magic just waiting to go off.
With the stone ruins behind you, you look down at your feet and notice a dirt pathway leading off in three directions (Odd that they converged at your location, isn't it?) - northwest, southwest, and southeast. No path looks much different from the others, although you do notice a golden key on the ground to your right.
