Summer Vacation

You are very uncomfortable about this situation and spend a restless night thinking about it.

In the morning, you arrive at your job, and Louis, your supervisor, is already there.

"Hey Louis," you say, timidly. "I've got a problem."

"What's up, bro?" he replies friendly.

"After we closed up yesterday, I counted the cash and there was money missing. I don't like to accuse people of things but, I think Spike may have stolen it," you say.

Louis looks very worried, and promises to look into the matter.

The next day, Spike is still on the job acting as though nothing has happened. You keep quiet.

At lunchtime, after Spike has left, Louis wants to talk to you.

"Hey, kid," he says. "You were right. Spike's a thief. I went down to the police station and did a more thorough background check. He's more than a thief, he's also suspected to be involved in drug dealing. Here's the catch, they can't prove it, but you can help. The police need someone to hang around him, and gather evidence. I recommended you. I actually called your parents this morning and they reluctantly agreed to the idea. Its up to you. Do you want to go undercover?" he asks with a grin.
