Extend the Story - Add a Room

You glance around the basement. Computers line every wall. You laugh bitterly to yourself; what use are all these computers going to be anymore? You've still got power for the moment, but who knows for how long. The internet, the network that was supposed to survive a nuclear catastrophe, went down during the second or third day. Your former lifes work as a freelance computer programmer seems to be at an end. "At least," you reflect, "nobody will be able to make millions of dollars sending out `GET H0lY W@T3R CHEaP!!!' spam."

Your eye falls on a 30 foot extention cord, and you pick it up. Even if it isn't useful for the originally intended purpose of transporting power, you can still use it to strangle monsters to death.

You wonder if the rest of the house is worth exploring.
