Heart of an Assassin
Despite having felt too nervous to sleep, you do eventually fall into its arms, and wake at dawn feeling refreshed and able to face anything that comes at you.
Kalem is not in the hut when you wake, but you find him outside after fetching the katana he gave you, not sure if you will need it or not.
Kalem starts speaking almost before you are outside. "As a woman, you will not be as strong as a man," he tells you. "However, for a samurai, strength is not always the way to win a fight. Too many warriors give themselves over to blood lust, and so lose themselves." He looks sharply at you. "Do you know what blood lust is?"
You nod. You have seen its effects, but not seen someone actually *in* the rage that blood lust brings.
"Good. Come with me." Kalem starts walking.
