Heart of an Assassin
You have to wait for a while for the soldiers to come to your village, but you don't care. You are bristling with rage, barely able to keep still until the soldiers' arrival.
As soon as they enter the village, you run up to the one who looks to be in charge. "I want to join you," you tell him.
"Sorry, we don't take women," the dark-haired man responds. His eyes rove over your body in an apprciative way.
Though you are pleased at being thought of as a woman rather than a girl, you know that you can't let it go at that. You refuse to stay in your village and let the world pass you by. Your family were murdered, and you're not going to let their killer go unpunished.
What do you want to do?
