Demon
You start to wake. The first thing you notice is the sensation of warmth and moving, as well as a major headache. You open your eyes wondering where you are. The sight of a black cloth and grass is what meets your eyes first. That is, until whoever was carrying you threw you to the ground. Correction, whatever was carrying you, not whoever. It had a black cloak and looked relatively human for the most part, except the gill-like things where ears where supposed to be and a long fish-like tail wrapped around a leg. You glared at fish-man and tried to pull a fist back to punch it but you heard the clink of metal on metal and looked down at your hands. They were chained! You glared harder at the chains then noticed the chains where attached to a wagon up ahead. In the wagon was a barred cage that held a tied up ... demon. Demon, you guessed was what these creatures where, you could find no other explanation. Her black, bat-like wings tied against her back with chains as well. You jumped slightly, startled by someone nudging you. It was Kit. She was also chained and looked frightened. You noticed she had a hand shaped bruise on the right side of her face along with four scratches. "What happened?" you questioned. She cringed slightly as fish-man slapped you upside the head, sending you about a foot away from where you had been.
"No talking." Fish man grumbled as you reached up to your face and felt blood coming from a set of four scratches that probably mirrored Kit's. Kit looked at fish-man nervously then quickly came up to you and helped you up and the two of you started fallowing the cart, unable to do anything else because of the chains.
*Time Passes*
You've been walking for hours through a grassy plain. In this time you've noticed you and Kit where the only humans here. There where, you guessed, ten demon creatures, not counting the one in the cage. The caged demon though did have a curious habit of looking over at you. It was starting to get annoying and you finally just glared at her when she looked at you again. She smirked at your sudden show of annoyance.

Both you and Kit jumped slightly as a demon with cat ears and a cat tail blared a horn then shouted "Night break," you hadn't realized it was getting dark till now, "we'll rest here till daybreak then head to the Southern Lands Palace of Sakosa. Prince Fasho's ball is tomorrow and we need to make sure he gets his gifts." The cat demon said this part looking at you and Kit. He shifted his gaze to the caged demon, "and we also need to make sure we get our reward for the capture of the thief Anonya." The cat demon smirked at the caged glaring bat demon, Anonya. You suddenly found yourself being picked up by fish-man. You growled slightly as he plopped you beside Anonya's cage. Kit was given the same treatment by another demon. Kit sighed and snuggled against you. You stiffened up for a moment getting ready to yell at her but seeing that she was shaking slightly from what had to be fear (it had been a hot day and is still rather warm) you let her stay. You glance around then close your eyes.
*Time passes*
Whap! You growl as something hits you on the head waking you from your sleep. You open one eye and look around expecting to be in your room. Then you remember what's happened. Whap! You look at Kit to see if she was doing it, but, to your surprise, she is laying half on top of you asleep. Whap! You whip your head around to look behind you and see the Anonya demon awake. You glare at her for waking you up and were about to chew her out for it when she opened her mouth. "I have a deal for you." She said, "I'll help you escape if you help me get away."
You look at her slightly interested but then remember she's supposed to be a thief. Can you really trust her? YouÂ…
