Final Stand

Ahead and to your left, you see "Rick's Ammo & Guns Store" with a ridiculous looking gun hanging from it's sign. The twin automatics you carry in your backpack are fully loaded, but you could use more ammo. Maybe you can also find another weapon that may be useful.

Walking to stand adjacent of Rick's Guns, you peer at the outside of the building. Surprisingly, it doesn't appear to have been effected by the looting, lacking either broken windows or a shattered door. You may have to rethink one of your stereotypes, maybe guns aren't one of the first things are looter's list after all. Trying the door, you find that it is locked. A few hard shakes and kick from your boot heal produces only a soreness in your muscles.

Turning back to the street, you notice a cheap looking abandoned chair. Walking to it, you pick it up, and without thinking look at the bottom. In dark print, the bottom of the chair reads "Macrobiotics Industries". Darkly you ponder what you could have been looking for; a sealed envelope attached to the bottom of the chair when opened that reads "If you're looking for the human race, we moved to Cleveland" perhaps?

Hoisting it over head, you take a few running steps and toss it against the Rick's Guns left street facing window. It shatters, and you clear away a few jagged shards carefully before crawling inside.

Inside, you observe the typical items of a gun shop, ammo & guns. With enough light filtering in from the streets, you are able to pick your way along through the isles until you find a few boxes of ammo for your automatics.

Walking around the counter toward the cash register, you instinctually reach under the counter and feel around. The cool feel of metal greets your fingertips, and you pull a shod-off shotgun from underneath the counter. Judging by the look of the weapon, you can till Rick must have been a believer in store security.

Turning toward the display case along the wall, you can till that Rick was a consumer of weapons. A few flintlocks are displayed, as well as some archaic single-shot pistols, Ak-47s and some other funny looking foreign weapons you don't recognize.

Because it would become unduly burdensome, you know you can't carry more than one additional weapon. Ruling the unrecognized foreign weapons out, which extra weapon would you like to pick up?
