Extend the Story - Add a Room

From the black abyss, you slowly begin to come around. At first, it's just like you're floating in a world of darkness. You can see nothing, and feel nothing. You panic for a moment, thoughts of 'Am I dead!?' racing through your mind, but then...

A flood of pain and soreness washes through you, bringing your mind fully from unconcious. Cracking open your eyes, you immediately regret it as a bright light claws at you, making your head throb even more than it already was.

You groan, wincing as your lungs protest such a simple action and bring a sore arm over your eyes to protect them.

"Hey, hey, I think she's waking up!"

Again, you wince. The voice, whoever it belonged to, was much too loud. You tried to say so, but the only thing that emitted from your throat was a weak croak. And it hurt, oh how it hurt. It felt like your throat was on fire along with your lungs. Wonderful.

"Genkai! She's waking up!"

'Tone it /down/,' you wanted to say to whoever that was. The voice was... well, to put it politely, annoying. It was like nails on chalkboard.

You heard a door open, followed by a quiet snap of "Quiet, you idiot." This voice was of an old lady's, stern and commanding.

"Sorry..." Mr. Annoying said sheepishly.

Let them make the first move.
